What Makes DiVentures Swim School Different From Other Programs?

DiVentures Swim School offers many advantages that set us apart from all other swim programs. We encourage a long-term lifestyle of swimming. We can teach your baby or child to swim, expand on technique as they get older and even introduce them to snorkeling as they mature. This can lead to a love of the water and all that aquatics has to offer; from competitive swimming to scuba diving!

  • We spent months screening, selecting, certifying ang training our caring instructors.
  • Our pool and air temperature will be warm and comfortable to provide the best learning environment.
  • We use swim fins to promote kicking and horizontal positioning in the water, making your child a stronger swimmer sooner.
  • We include parents in the last five minutes of class so you can see which skills your child learned and which should be reviewed.
  • We have four levels for each age group to prevent students from getting "stuck" in a level.

Why Use FINS in Waterbaby Swim Lessons?

The fins help your baby in two incredibly important ways:

#1 They provide excellent propulsion when your baby kicks. This success motivates your baby to kick more, which will make him a better swimmer. Remember, swimming babies must have good kicks because their arms are too short to help.

#2 The fins will help your baby to swim horizontally in the water rather than vertically. This great body position will allow your baby to swim much further through the water.

What happens if my child has to repeat a level?

When a child repeats a class, he or she is identified as a STAR swimmer. With the STAR identification the teacher will know that this child has covered the skills in this class before and needs to be challenged more than the rest of the class. This child may swim longer distances or perform higher skills than the rest of the class. Our goal with the STAR students is to push for higher skills while still allowing them the emotional comfort of a non-intimidating class setting.
