For babies six months to 35 months with little or no water skills. This is a fun and safe class involving baby and caregiver. Swimmers will work on kicking, bubble blowing and submerging underwater. Little ones learn floating skills, eight to ten second breath control and pool safety methods while enjoying songs and games.
For babies and toddlers who completed the Baby and Me class and can swim three feet. The goal of this class is to swim seven feet and begin the process of independent breathing. Swimmers must be mature enough to sit on the side of the pool and wait their turn.
For three year olds with little or no water skills. Swimmers will work on assisted breathing and straight leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. The goal of this class is to swim five feet, gain comfort in the water and introduce safety skills.
For three year olds who can swim five feet. Swimmers will work on assisted breathing, windmill arms and straight leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. The goal of this class is to swim ten feet. (Swimmers will work toward swimming without fins in this level.)
For three year olds who can swim ten feet. Swimmers will work on independent and rollover breathing, windmill arms and straight leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. The goal of this class is to swim 20 feet with assisted breathing.
For four and five year olds with little or no water skills. Swimmers will work on breath control and straight leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. The goal of this class is to swim ten feet, gain comfort in the water and introduce safety skills.
For four and five year olds who can swim ten feet. Swimmers will work on assisted breathing, windmill arms and straight leg kicking while enjoying fun themes and games. The goal of this class is to swim 20 feet with assisted breathing. (Swimmers will work toward swimming without fins in this level.)
For children six years and older with little or no water skills. Swimmers will work on floating, windmill arms and straight leg kicking. The goal of this class is to swim 20 feet with assisted breathing and introduce safety skills.
For children who can swim 20 feet with assisted breathing. Swimmers will work on independent front breathing and kneeling dives. The goal of this class is to swim 40 feet. (Swimmers will work toward swimming without fins in this level.)
For children who can swim 40 with several independent front breaths. Swimmers will work on stroke technique, standing dives and independent rollover breathing. The goal of this class is swim 40 feet with independent and rollover breathing. (Swimmers do not use fins in this level.)
For children who can swim 40 feet with independent rollover breathing. Swimmers will work on surface dives and unilateral breathing. The goal of this class is to swim 75 feet (one length of the pool) with unilateral breathing. (Swimmers do not use fins in this level.)
For children who can swim 75 feet (one length of the pool). Swimmers will work on freestyle stroke technique, elementary backstroke and treading water. The goal of this class is to swim freestyle with unilateral breathing 100 feet and elementary backstroke 100 feet. (Swimmers do not use fins in this level.)
For children who can swim freestyle with unilateral breathing 100 feet and elementary backstroke 100 feet. Swimmers will work on bilateral breathing, breaststroke and backstroke. The goal of the class is to swim freestyle with bilateral breathing 200 feet and swim backstroke and breaststroke 100 feet. (Swimmers do not use fins in this level.)
For children who can swim competitive freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. The goal of this class is to perfect competitive strokes, learn to swim butterfly 100 feet and increase endurance. (Swimmers do not use fins in this level.)
