What Makes DiVentures Swim School Different From Other Programs?
DiVentures Swim School offers many advantages that set us apart from other swim lessons. DiVentures is a Swim School International (SSI) facility. We encourage a life-long passion for swimming and can teach you or your child to swim, expand on technique and even learn to scuba dive. Our swim lessons feature:
- Small class sizes (maximum of four students)
- Caring, certified SSI swim teachers
- Warm water and warmer air temperature
- Use of swim fins to promote horizontal swimming
- Convenient morning, evening and Saturday class times
WHAT IS SWIM SCHOOLS INTERNATIONAL?
Swim Schools International is a new swim teacher certification agency. Swim Schools International stands as the paradigm for swim teacher certification worldwide. Their training initiatives and certification requirements ensure that our swim teachers are capable of meeting the needs and abilities of swimmers of all ages - from 6 months old all the way through adulthood.
When do I pay for lessons?
Two months of swim lessons must be paid for at initial enrollment. From there swimmers can pay monthly or join our Auto enrollment program.
Is there a registration fee?
There is a $25 registration fee per family. This will occur at enrollment. If you choose to take a break from lessons you will be required to pay a $25 re-registration fee when you return for lessons.
Why use swim fins?
Fins will help your child in two incredibly important ways:
#1 They provide excellent propulsion on every kick. This extra movement motivates swimmers to kick more efficiently. This helps new swimmers make progress faster and is a real confidence builder. Fins are also very helpful for babies, who need good kicks because their arms are too short to help.
#2 Fins will help your child to swim horizontally in the water rather than vertically. This great body position allows children to swim much further through the water.
How long will my child stay in a level?
There are 18 components to every level. Time in a level will depend on your child's water acclimation and coordination. Please remember that every child is different. Our swim teachers will make sure that your child is challenged based on his or her skill level.

DiVentures Recreational Swim Team offers a unique option to extend skills beyond swim lessons. With a 10:1 student to coach ratio, students will receive personalized attention in a fun, team atmosphere.

The ultimate club for kids ages 7-12! Learn the knowledge and skills necessary to be a safe diver, while mastering fun aquatic challenges and discovering cool facts about the ocean and marine life.
