Merit Badge Opportunities
Scuba Diving Merit Badge
Complete your Open Water Diver certification and Merit Badge requirements at DiVentures. Work with trained dive professionals who have the experience and knowledge to make you a safe and confident diver.
Students will:
- Expand knowledge of the ocean
- Learn more about marine biology
- Learn to scuba dive
DiVentures instructors are also certified Merit Badge counselors. They will work with each Scout to complete all necessary badge requirement, while teaching the best scuba skills and techniques available.

Classes meet twice a week for two weeks from 6:30-9:30pm.
Choose Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday option.
Scout Pricing = $275 + the cost of equipment
Boy scouts qualify for special pricing on the Open Water Diver course. Price includes classroom and pool training and open water checkout dives. Scouts must purchase their own mask, fins and snorkel prior to the start of class. DiVentures carries a wide variety of diving equipment.
Prerequisites: Swimming Merit Badge, 10 years old
Registration Information: Payment must be made in advance to reserve spots. Scouts may enroll as a troop or as an individual.

Get ready for summer camp or complete the prerequisite for your Scuba Diving Merit Badge.

The ultimate club for kids ages 7-12! Learn the knowledge and skills necessary to be a safe diver, while mastering fun aquatic challenges and discovering cool facts about the ocean and marine life.
