Advanced Open Water Certification
By going beyond your Open Water Diver scuba certification you can:

SSI’s Advanced Diver rating stands alone in the industry with the highest combination of scuba diving knowledge and experience. No other agency’s advanced diver level compares. To earn the certification for Advanced Open Water Diver, you must complete four specialty courses and have 24 logged dives (18 logged dives prior to starting class).
We offer the following specialties in our Advanced course: Deep, Navigation, Night/Limited Visibility and Nitrox.
COST: $400
REQUIREMENTS: Open Water Diver scuba certification from any recognized training agency, at least 18 logged dives, 12 years of age, two lights (primary and backup) and a compass. A safety sausage is also highly recommended.
LOCAL CERTIFICATION DIVE OPTIONS:
(During May-September ONLY)
After completing classroom and pool training, you and your instructor will discuss where and when your certification dives will take place. When doing local certification dives, this class may be completed in one weekend.
TROPICAL CERTIFICATION DIVE OPTIONS:
After completing classroom and pool training, you can complete certification dives while on a DiVentures trip or on one of your own adventures. You will need two dives for each of the following classes: Deep, Night/Limited Visibility and Navigation. Nitrox does not require any dives.
