What's a scuba and swim center without its own, official truck?
Hardly any fun at all, we think. So help us have some fun by picking a personalized license plate tag for our brand-spanking new Chevrolet C-14 Panel Truck (circa 1963)! The truck is nearing completion thanks to our friends at T&M Automotive here in Omaha.
We'll soon be dropping the monstrous new 454 crate motor in it, hooking it up to the 700R4 highway-eating 4-speed automatic transmission, rewiring from the ground up (a little electrician pun for all you diving electricians out there) and custom-crafting the interior with four extra-comfy seats, a complete new set of gauges, keep-you-cool air conditioning, a killer audio-video system (can you say 27-inch, drop-down flat screen TV/DVD player) and even tank racks and gear storage for those gotta-go-diving-now road trips we all need to make. Oh, and cup holders. Lots of cup holders. Hydration is important, you know.
The only thing we still need is a catchy license plate tag. Let your creative juices flow and help us “Tag the Truck.” All entries must be checked for availability through the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles web site. Select Vehicle Type - Commercial Truck and then choose Message Plate from the drop-down menu. Type in your entry and Select ‘Check Availability’. If the box changes to ‘Continue to Purchase’ your entry is available.
Click here to download an entry form. Entries may be emailed to info@diventures.net or dropped off at our store ( 2424 S. 120th St.). The contest winner will receive a $50 DiVentures gift card good for any in-stock merchandise in the store. Entries will be accepted through June 10th.
