Where are we staying

We will be staying at the Xanadu Island Resort. Xanadu Island Resort lies hidden on an inviting palm lined beach, overlooking the Caribbean and the Barrier Reef. Just a short walk to San Pedro Town, Xanadu Island Resort is close enough to enjoy the restaurants and other amenities of town, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to be quiet and relaxed.

All the luxurious condominium suites at Xanadu offer fully equipped kitchens and living/dining areas. Each suite has central air conditioning, cable tv, telephones, internet access, safes for valuables, hair dryers, IPOD docking stations, beach towels, and large shaded decks overlooking the ocean, pool and/or gardens.

Where are we diving

Home to Belize’s most prestigious natural treasure, the world’s second largest living barrier reef at roughly 185 miles/298 kilometers in length, Ambergris Caye is a true diver’s haven.  The reef crest is well defined by a conspicuous line of breaking water that is clearly visible from the shore and at low tide, Staghorn and Elkhorn coral can even be seen protruding above the surface.  Over 35 of Belize’s most spectacular dive sites are within close proximity and are accessible by boat.

How are we getting there

We will fly out of Omaha and into Belize City. Xanadu Island Resort is serviced by a 15-minute flight or a 75 minute boat ride from Belize City.

What’s included

The cost of this trip includes room accommodations for eight nights and three days of diving. You may add-on a dive trip to the Great Blue Hole through DiVentures.

What’s not included
Airfare is not included in the listed price of this trip. Once you pay your deposit, we will move forward with airfare scheduling and pricing. This trip does not include the cost of food or drinks, but San Pedro offers a wide variety of dining options ranging from $5-$50 per meal.

What is the change/cancellation policy?

$100 is required to reserve your spot on this trip. This will hold your spot and count as a credit toward your trip. This $100 is non-refundable.

The remaining $650 must be paid by September 11. Cancellation 60 days prior to the trip, refunds will be given based on reselling your space less any penalties by vendors. Cancellation 59 days or less to departure, no refunds will be given.
