Where are we staying?
We are staying at Casa del Mar, just two and a half miles south of downtown and less than five minutes away from the famous “Paraiso” reef.
When are we diving?
This trip includes three days of diving with Del Mar Aquatics. We will do boat dives on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Cozumel is loaded with fantastic dive sites featuring walls, tunnels, caves, pinnacles, overhangs and outstanding marine life.
For students looking to complete certification dives, you may start these on Friday afternoon, after arriving in Cozumel. We will do boat dives on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. There is unlimited shore diving all week. Airplane wreckage just off the shore!

How are we getting there?
OMAHA: We will fly Continental from Omaha to Cozumel with a stop in Houston, TX.
SPRINGFIELD: We will fly Continental from Tulsa to Cozumel with a stop in Houston, TX.

With airfare from OMAHA: $1,200
With airfare from TULSA: $1,150
$500 deposit due November 21. Full payment due December 19. Prices based on double occupancy.

Myth #3: Diving is a macho sport that is not female-friendly
This might have been true, back in the 1950s Sea Hunt era when Mike Nelson was spearing fish with his bare hands and rescuing damsels in distress. Only it wasn't really true then, either. The lovely Zale Parry was one of the most accomplished divers on the set, and when Sports Illustrated featured scuba diving in its May 23, 1955, issue, it was Parry who made the cover.
It is true that men have always participated in the sport more than women, but the gap has been closing steadily since the 1980s. Today, the male/female ratio is roughly 60/40 and everyone from equipment manufacturers to tour operators offer products specifically for female divers.
