Michaela is addicted to water... It all began when she was encouraged to join a swim team, despite little knowledge of swimming itself. It was literally a case of sink or swim, and today Michaela could not be happier that she took the leap. She stayed on swim team throughout high school, and even progressed into teaching and lifeguarding.

Michaela soon realized that her passion ran deep and she explored more aquatic ventures, such as high school DECA and the scuba diving program there. This lead to many more underwater adventures, including dives in the chilly and exhilarating Pacific Ocean. Today, Michaela teaches swim classes and continues scuba diving, sharing her passion for swimming and water safety with countless others.
