Laura starting swimming competitively for the Omaha Metro Swim Team when she was just seven years old. She went on to swim in high school at Duchesne and later attended college at UNO on a swimming scholarship.
Her biggest swimming accomplishment was going to Nationals all four years during her time at UNO. She graduated in May 2011 with a degree in Banking and Finance. She now works full time at NEI Global Relocation, but wants to continue giving back to the sport of swimming, since it had her the person she is today.

Other than swimming, Laura loves to travel, cook, try new things and work on planning her wedding in 2012.
