Franz, while being the newest instructor on the team, has been diving for years, and has accrued numerous certifications. Long before he was an instructor himself, he worked alongside other instructors to better his techniques and knowledge of the field. He has always been compassionate and patient with his students, from the returning diver eager to keep their skills polished, to the inexperienced enthusiast who might be a touch nervous when they’re diving in that first time. Franz is capable and keen to help.
Instructor Gear:
Why did you choose that gear?
I chose this gear because it was the best on the market and the most comfortable to be in all day.
Where is your favorite place to dive?
For local diving I would say Bull Shoals lake is the nicest dive. The fish and clarity is the best around Springfield. Beyond on that I have only been to Cancun, but it was a great time. The sea turtles were amazing.
What got you into scuba diving?
I always wanted to dive, but life alway got in the way. My wife and I eventually took scuba class together at. It was so much fun! I started to take more advanced classes and help out on the weekends. Then the next thing you knew… I was an instructor.
What is your favorite part of teaching?
I love to meet and visit with the students. I also enjoy completing certification dives.
